LOVE THESE BOOTS!

I will admit to being a bit skeptical about purchasing shoes over the internet. I am a visual person :) so I always like to know how something is going to look on me before buying. ( I hate having to deal with returning/shipping items as well)

I had checked out some department stores and some other shops at the mall. I did go to Steve Madden at the mall and I saw these boots and wanted to try them on but sadly they did not have my size. They were exactly what I was on the hunt for. :)A simple classy and stylish boot that would not kill my feet if I were to wear them all day. :) So imagine my heartbreak when yet again my long size 10 feet were turned away. ;)



I decided to try Amazon since I had some luck in the past finding items on here though shoe wear was never something I thought I'd buy on this site.......well I am so glad I did because not only was my size available I got them for $15.00 cheaper!! Even better! (Free shipping too!:)



These boots are heaven to my feet. :) I love the length (I have longer legs so I was worried where these would exactly fall on me they fall just below my knee) I like the slight "positioned" slouch they have to them. These boots do not "pull down" when you walk in them they stay put. With my previous pair of knee length boots I was always having to pull them up as they would "fall" after a bit. These don't do that.

They are very comfortable to walk and be in. They are simple yet so stylish! I like the flat heel it really makes for a comfortable fit. I have some high heeled boots but after so long your feet start screaming for a break. :) You'll wear these all day without any tears. :)



I also recommend getting a suede protector spray I got these in black and with most suede boots it will pick up dirt....you're going to want protect these lovely boots for as long as you can! :) More detail ...

Very Pretty Boot

TRUST ME BOOT

This "Trust me" boot is lined with a thin foam-type material that keeps the shaft slightly more rigid. It is a very pretty boot (I got the grey color). The suede is smooth and without flaws and the (functional) snaps are a polished silver look. It runs at least a half-size small. The sole is very thin so I tried on a FULL size larger and had enough room to put an insole in it. I bought both this boot and the "tripin over the knee" boot by Chinese Laundry. I am keeping this one and returning the "tripin" boot. The "trust me" boot seems to be a much better quality because of the lining. I am very tall (5'-9") and this boot comes just to the midpoint of my knee-cap. On an average person I am assuming it would be a true OTK boot. Looks great with leggings skirts or over skinny jeans. It's a little tough to put on over jeans because there is no zipper. The shaft height on a size 9 1/2 is 22 1/2". At the widest point (the top) the inside circumference is just over 16". You can wear this boot slightly slouchy all the way up or you can un-snap and fold over the top. I would have given it 5 stars if it came with ANY kind of cushion but just add an insole and it is then 5 stars.



TRIPIN OVER THE KNEE BOOT

Chinese Laundry also makes a very similar boot called "Tripin over the knee" boot. The other (Tripin) boot is NOT lined and therefore slouches down because it is just one layer of suede and has no lining. The Tripin boot has matching snaps (same color as the boot). comfy and fabulous

I ordered the purple color of these boots 2 weeks before christmas. I was surprised when they arrived in a quick manner especially since Tn. had horrible snow storms.

The boots are very comfortable and the heel doesnt seem high wich is a blessing for me. That was the only reason why I almost did not purchase these boots. I am glad I took a chance. I can wear them all day and my feet do not hurt. I adore the color I have a closet full of brown grey and black boots wanted something different. The boots look great with jeans leggings or a skirt. Boots!

I just got these in today and immediately started wearing them. Calves are a little snug with my pants tucked in- just measured the opening and it comes in at about 15.5 inches. Sung but not painful ie no pinching or squeezing. heal hight is great but a little loud walking around. There's not much padding for the ball of my feet I'm probably going to try some inserts. I got the Congnac color which I find beautiful and rich not as orange-y as the picture looks more brown. The leather is super soft not at all stiff looking on the leg. I have a feeling I'll be wearing these everywhere and with everything.More detail ...

Weren't these formerly called "Romulus"?

Well I wanted to write a review and I searched Amazon for Nine West Romulus. That's the boot I purchased. However the "Raquellew Knee-High Platform Boot" is what I got as a result of my search so I think Nine West has simply changed the name of this boot. This boot looks exactly the same as my Romulus boots so I think I'm on the right track here.



I got these earlier this year in black. They look wonderful and they're not bad to walk in at all. If you're like me you always use inserts to add to the overall comfort of a high-heeled boot; this time was no exception. The nice thing is they're not bad to walk in without the inserts and better with them.



It almost goes without saying that these beautiful boots are very versatile and go with so much. You can wear them with boot-cut jeans short denim skirts black leather mini's etc. They just look great and I get lots of compliments on them.



I'm definately going to order these in brown as well because you can't have enough of a good thing! Thanks Nine West!!More detail ...

Love the Boots.... But Color way off!

I got these boots today as a gift and they are wonderful except they are not the color that is shown in the picture. The color is more of a greyish color more than a beige shown. It says TaupeBut the boot in the picture is no where near the color I got. They are still wonderful boots.If you have a wide foot or bigger knees then these are not for you. Super Sexy Boots

I absolutely love these boots! Everywhere I go I am constantly getting compliments. The calf portions of the boots are bigger than most boots - so they're not snug if you have smaller calves like I do. But I love them cause I can wear jeans and pull the boots over easily and be extremely comfortable and not look awkward. The one thing about the boots is they have an extremely high heel like 4 inches - with the arch your feet look smaller and cuter. But if you don't like tall boots then these boots might not be for you. But even with such high heels they're very comfortable. I don't recommend standing in them all day cause your feet might get a little tired. But just to give you an example I went shopping in these boots and after walking around for 4-5 hours I was still doing well. Totally worth having these boots in your wardrobe. These boots are made for walking while providing marvelous style along with great comfort!

I'm really pleased with my new boots! The heel is high enough to make me feel glamourous while providing both comfort and stability. My job requires a great deal of walking. I was able to wear my new boot to work and my feet felt terrific all day and into the evening.



I also appreciate the fact that the bottom sole and heel are designed so that the boots are neither loud or clunky when I walk.



The square toe makes them look really modern and sleek. They look equally fantastic with jeans slacks or skirts. I really like footwear which is versatile and these boots deliver! The sizing is very accurate. The boot felt as if they were custom made for my feet They feel great on my legs as well.

these boots are something else....

Wasn't sure that thigh high boots were "me". Midwestern middl aged and a bit overweight. Turns out that these boots are GREAT. I wear a size 10 and am almost 6 ft tall. Big Girl you say yeah I am. The boots are somfy no pinching on the toes or heel. I did order a 1/2 size larger than my flat shoes but heels are usually that way anyway. The zipper is a nice feature heel to thigh. so elegant and stylish!

Well ladies I think I might be in love with Michael Antonio because he sure does know how to design a great ladies' boot!



Yes these heels are so very elegantly high but if you look closely (use the zoom feature) you'll find that yes there's a hidden platform (at least 1/2 inch). If you look even closer you'll note that the platform is thicker towards the rear of the ball of your foot and thinner towards the front so these shoes really are designed to allow your feet to sort of "roll along". It's a big improvement in design in this girl's humble opinion.



Also I just love the repeating gentle arch design on this boot; they make it look so sophisticated and elegant!



I got these in black and I love pairing these with a black leather miniskirt. The dark grey design does limit the tops you can wear with these a bit but I didn't subtract a star since it's obvious from the get-go that you'll need to be a bit more particular when deciding what to wear these with.



These really are so elegant and they're fun to wear too. Highly recommended!More detail ...
